Clinical Instructor - Hospitalist in Kansas City, Kansas
Provide medical care on inpatient services. Patient care is provided in shift scheduling to include day, swing and limited night shifts, shared equally among members of the group. 24/7 in-hospital coverage. Limited interaction with house staff in a supervisory and triage role. Nocturnist program in place. Full sub-specialty support; closed ICU. Attending physician for the General Medicine Division.
DUTY 1) Participate in educational and administrative conferences as directed by immediate supervisor, including participation on subcommittees relevant to area of practice or education.
DUTY 2) Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Chair and/or Division Chief.
Probation Status: Subject to the regulations of the State of Kansas, the Board of Regents and the University of Kansas Medical Center. I understand and agree that, if I am employed in a Regents Unclassified position, during the first six months of my employment, I serve at the pleasure of the Executive Vice Chancellor of KUMC and my employment may be ended at any time during that period.
MD or foreign degree equivalent to an MD. 3 years of Internal Medicine residency training. Hold or be eligible for Kansas medical license.
